Why Should I Choose A Staggering & Splendid Miniature Schnauzer?

I heard a barking from the house…..what could it be????

Oh, my awesome Miniature Schnauzers were alerting me again that my mail is here. They by far are the best breed of dog for overall family enjoyment.

No they are not a Springer Spaniel which are bred for hunting and they are great at it.

No they are not a Gordon Setter, Irish Setter, nor an English Setter which are all handsome dogs bred again for hunting and require a tremendous amount of grooming.

Miniature Schnauzers are not a Poodle, which is not a good choice for young children.

Beagles have a strong odor and shed like crazy, no that is not a Miniature Schnauzer.

They are not a Border Collie which is the #1 in intelligence out of 336 breeds of dogs, however, extremely active, good with children, they will herd them, however they are not a dog that I would give a leash to and allow a child to walk down the street because of their strength, size, power the may see a cat and bolt with your child and they will both be gone.

Anyway, I believe that buying a puppy requires an investment of time and research.

Firstly, pick your breed carefully and it should always be an AKC registered puppy unless you want to pay more for a mongrel, half breed that you will run the risk of several health challenges and other problems.

The only time my child has ever been bitten was by a Welsh Corgi Rescue Dog (purebred) however a rescue dog that a rich family was trying to do the right thing and could have lost their gorgeous home instead with a lawsuit and the dog ultimately put to rest.

Splendid Miniature Schnauzers are challenging to find…even though the Miniature Schnauzers’ intelligence is rated right up there with the Border Collie, Poodle and the German Shepherd it does NOT signify that ALL Miniature Schnauzers are rated at that level of intelligence. Whether it be a Border Collie, a Poodle, German Shepherd or Miniature Schnauzer it is ALL about the breeding and the “Early Puppyhood Development”.

Secondly, pick your breeder carefully!
The following is a list of what I consider to be important.

What is occurring with my puppy for the first 8 weeks of it’s impressionable life.

Puppies are imprinting daily.

Does the breeder practice early puppyhood development techniques?

Are they socializing your puppy on a daily basis for 8 weeks.

Did they start talking and loving the puppy while in the womb?

What is the breeder’s daily commitment

Does the breeder work outside the home for 5 – 10 hours a day including commute time.

Is the breeder a hobbyist breeder or a committed to the betterment of the breed for you and your family and others?

What do they feed your puppy for 4 weeks of their life?

Does momma consume vitamins daily and mega doses during pregnancy to insure great health for both the mother and the puppies? http://bit.ly/1jqFLTz

Does the breeder specialize in the breed she represents or does she lack focus promoting and selling several breeds?

Is the breeder with a small kennel or a rather large kennel of I would say large would be relatively speaking more that 10-12 dogs? I have heard of some breeders that have 20, 30, 40…even 100 dogs in kennels in their country estate.

Do you like your breeder and do you consider her a friend?

Will she be there for you after you take your puppy home if you should need her?

Prayerfully, this list assists you with your choice of a brilliant puppy. After all they are your new family member for next 10-15 years.
