I am committed to improving the Miniature Schnauzer breed through diligent breeding. I am committed to their emotional well-being as well as their overall good health.
All puppies have worms!!!!!
All Miniature Schnauzer puppies have worms!
All dogs have worms!
That is a fact!
Strategic Deworming Guidelines:
According to the American Association Of Veterinary Parasitologists (AAVP)
And the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (DCD)
It is paramount to practice strategic deworming.
Your Miniature Schnauzer Puppy (like all puppies):
As a Miniature Schnauzer puppy this puppy growth phase of their life is when they are most susceptible to worms!
- Deworm at 2, 4, 6, & 8 weeks of age,
- Deworm again at 12 & 16 weeks of age. 3 & 4 months
- Then continue to deworm every 6 months
- Adult Miniature Schnauzer Dogs:
Deworm twice a year for life.
o Dogs put everything in their mouth and need twice a year deworming to eliminate the parasites they will pick up.
NOTE:
Newly Acquired Animals:
No matter what the history or age, assume they have parasites!
- Deworm immediately and repeat in 2 weeks.
